Meet the Farmer
Hey there!
I’m Jen and I am so excited you are here! I grow all of our flowers on a quarter acre plot behind our family’s home. Located on the outskirts of Fresno County between Fresno and Lemoore. My husband, Matt, along with my two children, Paxton (age 3) and Haevyn (age 1) make up the team here at Freckled Flower Farms. Often times, little feet are following me out and around the flower field. It amazes me that God gives us the ability to nurture and grow such beauty from tiny seeds, a small patch of dirt, and a little TLC. I love that I can share this gift of creation with my children and the joy that flowers bring with my community.
Our story
My flower career started with a small vegetable garden intertwined with flowers. I was quickly amazed by the range of uniquely beautiful flower varieties that are out there and began collecting my favorites to grow here at the farm. As I outgrew the veggie patch I scowered my backyard, searching for any empty spaces to tuck flowers into. The next year we had flowers blooming in every nook and cranny. It brought me so much joy to walk the backyard with the kids collecting arm loads of flowers to bring into the house. I truly believe that flowers have a unique way of bringing joy and happiness to any home and space and decided I wanted to share this with my community. After many discussions with my husband I expanded into what once was a baron field behind our family home and turned it into what is now Freckled Flower Farms.
In 2021, I really took a leap of faith and attended a widely known floral course to further my flower education. It was exactly what I needed to take our Farm to the next level. We now grow more than 100 varieties of flowers to share with our local community and florists. Freckled Flower Farms offers a variety of services including wholesale to florists, flower subscriptions and arrangements, DIY bulk flower buckets, and private field to vase workshops. We are so happy you are here, supporting our family’s flower journey. I am excited to share the beauty of fresh seasonal flowers with you!
